Rockclimbing-Project Climbing Centre November 19, 2018

This trip rocked! Sorry I couldn’t help myself. Students challenged themselves on various routes at Project Climbing Center, while learning climbing techniques from certified instructors. Comm Rec Extreme students (and anyone else who wants to) leave a 100 word response below.

I have been climbing for about 3 years now and am referred to by Mr.Rahe as the resident professional. I only bouldered during this trip but I watched the others climb and the belayers at project were very nice and helpful to the kids. They told them what they were doing wrong and what they were doing right. I was helping a few kids that didn’t want to top rope and they had progressed just from the couple of hours climbing.

I quite enjoyed paint-balling at millionaire paintball. It is a different kind of trip unlike many of the hiking trips and others as it is just a day trip meant to have fun, while being safe. Shooting people with paintballs and trying no to get hit is one of the many challenges of this activity as many of the guns are not that accurate, but that is part of the fun. If you are going to go on this trip be advised that it could be raining, paintballs hurt, and never take your mask off while in the field. Other than those tips you should be just fine and have a lot of fun shooting friends and enemies.
