Our first ski/snowboard trip got off to a little bit of a rocky start with a bus breakdown which resulted in an extra long day on the mountain. However, smiles abounded, skills were improved, and the Brazilians were still singing at the end of it all! This snowboarding trip was a lot of fun. I personally was looking forward to it all year because it was my first time on a. mountain all year. I had a great time and got to hang out with my friends. I definitely learned I might be directionally challenged especially when everything around me is white. This trip ins specific taught me some patience due to our bus breaking down. Spending an extra few hours on the mountain wasn’t;t ideal but they kept the food open for us. Overall, it was a great trip.
Yes the bus breaking down definitely threw a curveball but a fun trip overall!
This trip was very fun for me! It had been a hot second since I had skiied and once I got the hang of it again I had so much fun. We defiently were taught the virtue of patience when the bus broke down. It gave everyone a chance to hangout and eat. There was one moment when I was skiing in a part of the hill that wasn’t as popular, there was alot of powder and I laid down to find absolute silence. It was so peaceful and it reminded me why I loved snow so much. Overall fun trip, good people.
Were you able to find any personal challenges on the mountain? I love that is has been a “hot second” since you had skiied.
Skiing was an absolute blast for me! It was a different experience however because I was skiing with people that I had never even met before. It was interesting to navigate the mountain and also get to know someone new as the day went on. It was definitely memorable because of how many wrong turns or wrong slopes we went down. Also the traffic going back was an absolute nightmare!

Skiing was an absolute blast! It was a different experience however because I was skiing with people that I had never even met before. It was interesting to navigate the mountain and also get to know someone new as the day went on. It was definitely memorable because of how many wrong turns or wrong slopes we went down. I really appreciated the experience because I learned how fun it can be to spend a day with a complete stranger and then get to know them over a common interest. Also the traffic going back was an absolute nightmare!
