Skiing/Snowboard Trip 3-Mount Seymour March 12, 2020

While the cancellation of the much anticipated weekend ski/snowboard trip probably left a lot of people feeling out in the cold, the second trip to Mount Seymour was a memorable success. As what likely will be, due to the Coronovirus, the last Extreme trip of this school year, students got to get outside and experience the fresh mountain air one last time. Spring skiing conditions proved for fast runs, and students spent the day carving up the empty slopes as they looked forward to their impending spring break! Extreme Outdoor Education students (and anyone else who wants to) leave a 100 word response below.

Similar to the previous snowboarding trip, we went to Seymour again and it was mostly the same experience. Although, this time I was put into a snowboard lesson that wasn’t my skill level so it was a bit boring.

This was my first time on the mountain and I wasn’t sure how it was going to be. I was a bit intimidated at first, but then I met my instructor she was really nice and I had an awesome time with her. I was quite surprised at how well I did and I wasn’t expecting to have so much fun. I learned so much on this trip and had such an awesome time on the mountain. My only regret is that I didn’t go sooner as this was the last skiing trip of the year.
