The last ski/snowboard trip of the season proved to be a true test of the mettle of the group as students endured harsh, wet conditions mixed with gale-force winds at the top of the mountain. Adding to the fun was the fact that the high winds shut down the green chair for the day, and the yellow chair was down for maintenance in the morning. However, in the afternoon the weather improved substantially, the winds died down a little, and the yellow chair opened up allowing night skiing for the group. The end result was a great afternoon of riding as Mouat students successfully sought out fresh powder, and improved their skills across the board. Mr. Rahe even managed to summon the courage to ride the box in the terrain park, and successfully managed to not kill himself doing it (though the dismount was a little rough).
