Another outdoor education skills night and another record amount of interest in terms of trip numbers! Over 75 people signed up for this early Spring camping trip, resulting in the sign up closing early and a record number of 60 students braving a night in the great outdoors! While inclement weather was predicted at the outset students were treated to mild Spring conditions as they hiked, cooked, camped, and enjoyed a campfire. Valuable lessons were gained to help prepare students that signed up for the upcoming Stein Valley trip, and lasting memories were made by all students. A special shout out to the awesome outdoor ed helpers who assisted with gear after the trip, for Mr. Billo for graciously offering up his space to store gear over the weekend, to the great team of chaperones who kept students safe throughout the trip and to the students on the trip whose positive choices made the trip a success (except you 1am shouters-you know who you are :x).
