Description: It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no it’s a flying Mouat Outdoor Education student!!! For this trip students will head to Grouse Mountain to tackle the Grind! Students will travel to Grouse Mountain in Vancouver and traverse up the Grouse Grind, a difficult but highly rewarding ascent up to the peak of Vancouver. After this hike students will eat lunch and then spend the afternoon challenging themselves on either a high ropes course, complete with some zip lines to fly above the tree tops of Grouse, or the main zipline course at Grouse whose availability is dependent on the snow melt in the next week.
Cost: $65 for High ropes, $125 for ziplines
***Note*** This fee covers admission, transportation, miscellaneous equipment, and student hardship.
Gear: Athletic clothing and shoes, sunscreen, hat, bag lunch or money to purchase food.
Class time missed: Full day
