Description: Experience a two night backpacking trip to Greendrop and Flora Lakes in the Chilliwack River Valley. The first day will see us backpack for approximately 4 hours to beautiful Greendrop Lake where we’ll set up camp for the weekend. The campground features developed sites, pit toilets, and bear caches, etc. The second day will see us push forward to Flora Lake, an amazing high elevation lake at over 5000m!

We will be camping and travelling in a high mountain environment. Expect extreme shifts in temperature. It can be as high as 20 degrees, sunny and hot during the day, but can drop down to as low as -5 degrees at night. Layers and layers of warm, non-cotton clothing are an absolute must. A sturdy pair of shoes in good condition (athletic running shoes are fine) are imperative. As you pack keep in mind that there are no garbage cans at the campground. You will need to pack out what you packed in. Your pack should be kept to 50 pounds or lighter, and should not have items swinging from it.
